I recently completed the Standard First Aid CPR-C course and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. Anne Klausner was exceptional—patient, knowledgeable, and caring. She explained each step with clarity and ensured everyone understood the procedures. Her approachable demeanor and expertise made the course not only informative but also enjoyable. I highly recommend Ms. Anne Klausner at Richmond Hill location to anyone looking to learn first aid and CPR.

Took my SFA & AED recertification with Anne, could not recommend the course more! She was so personable, engaging, and dynamic as an instructor. I felt engaged and encouraged throughout the whole day, and the stories and anecdotes she told really help the information stick in your brain. Particularly loved the way she contextualized everything we were learning in terms of specific regulations, situations, and legalities in the everyday of Ontario, and where to access more resources when necessary (mental health hotlines, getting a tick tested for Lyme disease, how to safely dispose of expired medications, etc.). Absolutely the best training course I’ve taken (of all the times I’ve had to recertify) and I’m looking forward to seeing her again in three years!

When an emergency strikes, you may find yourself all of a sudden in a situation out of a disaster film, and the difference between a happy ending and a tragedy may just depend on your knowledge of CPR. When a person stops breathing as a result of drowning, suffocation, or physical trauma (and the hundred other things that can cause this condition), the ambulance will not make it there in mere minutes, which is often all the time you have to revive your loved one. Our first aid and CPR training Canada can give you the confidence you need in situations where every second counts.
  • What is CPR, and what does it do?
  • When is it needed?
  • How is CPR performed?
  • Do you know what to do when someone needs CPR?

The highest percentage of cardiac arrest cases occur at home and in the workplace, which is no surprise since people spend most of their time in those two places. No matter how close the nearest hospital is, the ambulance might not arrive in time, so having someone around who is trained in CPR can make all the difference.

CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, which is a treatment administered when a person is not breathing or not breathing normally. The direct goal of this treatment is to keep oxygenated blood reaching the person’s brain. When someone needs CPR, they really need it.

At Coast2Coast, we offer three levels of First Aid training Canada:

  • Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Level C
  • Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C
  • Marine Basic First Aid & CPR/AED Level C

First Aid training is often a requirement for careers or school programs. Depending on your field, you may need to complete a specific course. Confirm what is required with your employer or counsellor.

Mobile Swimming is a great way to learn how to swim in the comfort of your home! If you own a pool or have a community centre with open pool hours, we can send one of our experienced swim instructors to you. Choose a time and date that works best with your schedule! Simply send us an inquiry to get started.
