What is Online Blended First Aid & CPR/AED Learning?
Online Blended First Aid & CPR/AED learning is a combination of in-class training with online instruction. With the Online Blended format, theory and information are conveyed to the participants through an online module. This online module must be completed first. Students will then attend an in-class portion which focuses on skill development and the application of theory while under the direction of a First Aid Instructor. This program is WSIB approved.
In the Online Blended First Aid & CPR/AED delivery, standards remain the same as Traditional training with the following variations:
- Participants will receive online access to the Blended Learning portion of their course within 24 hours of registration
- The course is taught by a Canadian Red Cross Blended Learning Instructor
- Participants must complete the classroom component within six weeks of completing the online component
