COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements:
Proof of Vaccination
According to the Ontario Ministry of Health, some of our training facilities may require proof that students are fully vaccinated before entering courses that take place at rental meeting spaces (conference rooms, studios, etc.). You may show proof via the “Verify Ontario” app. This app will provide a scannable QR code confirming you are vaccinated. If you are exempt, please check with health officials to confirm you may attend this course. Proof of Vaccination only applies to certain training facilities. ONLY if you are taking a course in one of the following locations, this policy applies to you:
- Hamilton
Upon arrival, staff will check students ID (ensure you carry government issued photo ID such as drivers’ license) and proof vaccination. If the student fails to satisfy the requirement, the staff will not admit the student to the class for training.
According to Regulation 364/20 and the Ministry’s guidance, medical exemptions allow the student to attend the training without proof of full vaccination, however the student must provide a valid medical note stating the medical exemption. For a medical note to be valid, the note must:
- Include the name of the person in the written documentation, matching the identification provided
- Include the physician or registered nurse’s full name and qualifications in the extended class’s information
