Most First Aid and CPR certificates through the Canadian Red Cross are only valid for three years in Ontario. Before these three years are up, you may be required to recertify your first aid and CPR/AED training for work or school in Brampton. Recertification courses refresh student’s memories and teach new implemented techniques. What courses can you recertify with Coast2Coast?
CPR/AED C may be recertified over and over, as long you complete the Recertification course prior to your certificate expiring. This recertification course will remind you how to perform CPR, use an AED and help someone of any age who is choking. This training will run for four hours, making it simple to complete your training quickly.
Unlike CPR/AED C, Standard First Aid and CPR/AED C may only be recertified once, meaning you must alternate between a full course and a recertification course. Practice life-saving skills you learned three years ago. Standard First Aid and CPR/AED C Recertification will only last one day (eight hours), half the time it took to complete the full training course.
