Child Care First Aid
Coast2Coast provides private Child Care First Aid and CPR training that follows Canadian Red Cross guidelines. There are two levels of Child Care First Aid which cover different topics necessary for those who work in child care professions or simply want to learn this important information.
These private trainings are great for groups from workplaces or school programs to complete their required training. Our goal is to provide our students with the confidence they need to save a life, which is why our courses are always taught by a Canadian Red Cross instructor who uses top-notch training equipment.
Emergency Child Care First Aid
This course is only available for PRIVATE training.
Our Emergency Child Care First Aid is a one-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills, with a focus on childhood injuries and illnesses. The course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent, and respond to circulation emergencies for babies and children (CPR level B).
Other topics include airway and breathing emergencies, as well as prevention of disease transmission. The course is designed for those in the early childhood education industry as well as for parents/caregivers.
The Emergency Child Care First Aid course follows the guidelines of the Canadian Red Cross and will provide you with a WSIB approved certificate which is valid for three years.

Our Standard Child Care First Aid is a comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills, with a focus on childhood injuries and illnesses. The course covers a variety of topics from basic (CPR level B, circulation emergencies, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission), to in-depth (sudden medical emergencies and injuries to the head and/or spine).
The Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR course has been designed for those in the early childhood education industry, or those who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies involving children and babies.
This course follows the Canadian Red Cross guidelines, providing students with a WSIB-approved certificate. Learn from our experienced instructors and feel confident while providing first aid and CPR to children and infants!

Child Care First Aid courses are only available for Private training. Private training is meant for groups of eight (8) or more students who wish to earn the same certification.
