If you’re considering enrolling in both Standard/Emergency First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), register for each course separately. Now available in the Durham Region, these courses provide students with the opportunity to enhance their life-saving skills. While both courses strive to provide excellent training, BLS is specifically designed for healthcare providers requiring intensive instruction.

Coast2Coast offers first aid and CPR/AED courses in two possible delivery methods including “Blended” and “Traditional All-In-Class.” These course types are scheduled on different dates, creating more opportunities for students to complete their training. If our Blended course option does not work for you, please check out our Traditional All-In-Class schedule by clicking the “Find a Date” button. What is Traditional All In-Class? Our Traditional All-In-Class format is a course that is only held in a classroom. The entire training will be taught by one of our highly skilled Canadian Red Cross instructors who will teach theory and hands-on skills over the course of four to 16 hours depending on the course level you choose.
