    What is Marine First Aid?

    Marine First Aid training courses are for those who work in marine environments and require first aid and CPR/AED training. These courses will cover a variety of topics ranging from head and spine injuries, airway emergencies, environmental emergencies and more!

    Understanding and knowing how to perform first aid and CPR/AED skills is an important aspect of working in the marine or fishing industry. Depending on your job, there may be times where you do not have access to a doctor or hospital for a long period of time but require first aid. Our training courses will not only provide you the skills and knowledge required to assist others with various emergencies, but also ensure your confidence while doing so, keeping you and your co-workers safe.

    Marine Basic First Aid

    Coast2Coast offers the Canadian Red Cross Marine Basic First Aid course, which meets all the standards and requirements of Transport Canada outlined in Transport publication (TP) 13008 E. This is a comprehensive 16 hours, two day training course which allows the participant to earn a rating certificate or endorsement, Master or Chief Mate limited certification, provide first aid on board a vessel engaged on a near-costal voyage, class 2, or sheltered waters.

    These life-saving skills are taught to help identify, avert and respond to medical emergency situations with proper first aid and CPR revolving around scenarios encountered by the marine/fishing industry. Keep yourself and your co-workers safe and learn Marine Basic First Aid & CPR/AED today!

Our private Marine First Aid training courses are taught by experienced Canadian Red Cross instructors who use top-notch equipment, perfect for practicing and perfecting hands-on skills.     I have only ravings for the instructor Ali for the amazing job he did covering all bases on this course. The online course is quite intense but really worth it. Ali made the course material bery relevant and easier to understand.One thing is the 30 questions are very good but one question had me tripping! Please remove trick questions. Mental illness is a relatively new tooic and I think better questioning would help people understand that that too can be a ‘life-threatening’ situation to urge people to call 911 instead of only EMPATHY being a priority.
