Online First Aid & CPR/AED Training
How Does an Online First Aid Course Work in Canada?
Online First Aid &
CPR/AED Training
In the 21st century, we are all accustomed to doing the majority of things online; from banking to grocery shopping, even learning different workouts. We should also be able to learn life-saving skills such as CPR online as well. We all want to keep our loved ones safe and take all the necessary measures of precaution to ensure their safety.
We get everyone to wear their seat belts, make sure we cross the road in a safe manner. We keep bandages and medicine at home and at work…but do we really know how to respond to serious injury? When a pot of boiling water causes severe burns? When a child gets cut by a sharp kitchen utensil? When someone trips on the stairs and breaks an arm or a leg?
The Online First Aid & CPR/AED courses are developed to be simple to use, interactive, and effective. Depending on the course you take, whether it’s Emergency Response Training, Basic Life Support training or another one, there are different modules covering important life-saving skills and knowledge. Each module has an examination designed to ensure your understanding of the subject matter. Once completed you will receive a temporary certificate from the Canadian Red Cross which is valid for 60 days. If you wish to receive a WSIB or OHS approved certificate, you will also need to attend an in-class session.
Learn important First Aid and CPR skills with our wide range of levels to meet every need, including those looking to be more prepared for their own health and safety or to keep those around them more prepared. The Online First Aid & CPR/AED courses are delivered in easy-to-follow steps, using interactive components, videos, games and modules and a variety of training materials.

A First Aid & CPR
Program That's
For You!
In today’s world, we can never be too careful, and the sad truth is, keeping ourselves prepared and ready to respond to emergencies is not usually a priority. Sadly, most people would think in an emergency situation that they can act on based on fictional doctor shows or films or what they have heard from others. But is that really enough? We don’t think so.
Heart disease is one of the most common causes of death in Canada and that is not the only disease that affects Canadians every year. Cardiac arrest and other dangerous diseases can really strike anyone at any time. This is why learning and getting a First Aid and CPR/AED certification is so important.
It is important to learn the skills and knowledge from a reputable source. We put our trust in the Canadian Red Cross national guidelines. Our students learn different skills and knowledge in the courses. For example, in CPR courses, you will learn how to perform cardiovascular resuscitation following the latest guidelines that increase the chance of survival.
