In this course, you will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to respond to opioid poisoning emergencies, including administering both intranasal and intramuscular naloxone.

- Strategies to reduce the stigma associated with opioid poisoning.
- Confidently respond to opioid poisoning emergencies.
- Proper administration of intranasal and intramuscular naloxone.
Course Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years or older
Course Information:
- Self-paced: Work through the materials online at your own speed.
- Duration: Approximately 1 hour.
- Knowledge checks: You must score at least 70% on each module’s quiz to pass. You can review the content and retake the quizzes as needed.
Certification:
- Students will receive a Canadian Red Cross certificate in First Aid for Opioid Poisoning upon successful completion.
